Anthony Fox

M.S., CSCS, CF-L1  
(Co-Owner/Director of Programming/Head Coach)

Coach Anthony graduated with a Master’s of Science in Movement and Sport Studies and is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. When he's not coaching, he can usually be found"geeking out" on anything strength & conditioning and fitness. His most recent topic of choice? Sleep and its affect on recovery and performance. He is the Director of Programming and Head Coach at SouthWind CrossFit. 

Melissa Meagher

(Co-Owner/Director of Operations/Coach)

Coach Mel is a former Division 1 Volleyball Player with coaching experience in both the athletic world of volleyball and elite fitness. She is the Director of Operations and Assistant programming Director at SouthWind CrossFit.

Paul Davis


After becoming a member at our gym, Paul earned his L1 in an effort to understand CrossFit from another perspective. Coach Paul was brought on staff and has been valuable asset to our team. His cheerful spirit, positive attitude, hunger for knowledge and passion for coaching is what makes him a great addition to the SouthWind CrossFit community! 

Gabrielle Wilson

(Coach, KidsFit Coach)

Student by day, coach by night--Coach Gabby is currently working on her Bachelor's Degree in Speech Language Pathology at FHSU. She earned her L1 while on vacation from school and has been a part of our gym as an athlete since coming to Hays. When she's not studying, you can find Gabby coaching CrossFit classes and KidsFit. 

Becky Fox


Coach Becky brings a fresh perspective on holistic health and wellness to our staff and when you hear "super-human" you might think of her. She works as a School Counselor while concurrently working on her Master's Degree in School Counseling. Becky has been doing CrossFit for several years and although many consider her the gym sweetheart, she's one tough lady. On top of being a student, school counselor, and a coach, you'll likely find her name near the top of the leaderboard! 

Nick Gehring


New to our Staff, Coach Nick brings a strong focus on the fundamentals and is all about having a good time and a laughable attitude! He was first introduced to our community as an athlete during the 2018 CrossFit Open where he PR'd a power clean--which he says is "All Anthony's fault." After the gym moved locations in 2018, Nick became a member. His first workout at the new location? A 5k run. He carries that attitude of "well, this isn't gonna be fun but let's go" with humor. When asked about his spare time, Nick said..."I enjoy long walks on the beach while listening to Nickelback."
